gameday in tally

E$PiN only gives ***** about the $EC

they will be at the Cawktail party

You're probably right where they will be, but this SEC stuff is getting overblown. ESPN is begging for us and FSU to win out and be a marquee matchup. We are a cash cow for them and always have been.

I think like 5 of the top 10 all time Games on ESPIN have been CANES/Nolies games

ESPN’s top 5 most-viewed regular-season games:

USC at Ohio State: 10,586,000 viewers (September 12, 2009)
Boise State at Virginia Tech: 9,888,000 viewers (September 6, 2010)
Florida State at Miami (Fla.): 9,120,000 viewers (September 4, 2006)
Miami (Fla.) at Florida State: 8,406,000 viewers (September 7, 2009)
Arizona at Oregon: 7,787,000 viewers (November 26, 2010)

ABC’s top 5 most-viewed regular-season games:

Michigan at Ohio State: 21,037,000 viewers (November 18, 2006)
Notre Dame at USC: 16,059,000 viewers (November 24, 2012)
Florida at Florida State: 14,829,000 viewers (November 30, 1996)
Notre Dame at USC: 14,647,000 viewers (November 25, 2006)
Miami at Florida State: 14,294,000 viewers (November 16, 1991)

That's insane compared to the other numbers. Also interesting is that all of ABC's top rated games are in November and 4 out of 5 of ESPN's are in September (looks like 3 of them were probably opening weekend).

Good stuff man, good stuff.

Yes, there is A LOT of ESPN "personalities" that hate our guts, no denying that. However, ESPN itself loves us. Yeah the SEC suckfest is annoying, but really, who else has stepped up consistently to challenge that? People wonder why FSU gets so much love but they are one of the few non-SEC "powers" that have a shot each year to make noise and ESPN wants teams like them, and us, to get back to where we once were.

Anyone denying that is just doing it as some sort of imaginary rally cry.

A few things..

1) The FSU vs Clem game is in Death Valley. The FSU/UM game would be in Tally. Just like Ohio State being on Primetime the last two Saturdays, as long as Gameday is not going to the same place twice it doesnt matter.

2) Like another poster said, alot will depend on whether UF and GA win out. I tend to agree that Gameday will be in J-ville if GA beat Missouri and UF beats LSU. Sucks but its the truth.

3) If LSU beats UF to a pulp, and FSU beats Clem (Which would put them at #4 in the country maybe #3) and we win our two games (Which would def mean we slide into the top 10).. I see no legit reason why our game wouldnt be in primetime and why gameday wouldnt be there. That would be the only game on that weekend with legit title implications.

Why would this definitely put us in the top 10? The only teams ahead of us that play each other are Stanford vs UCLA and Clemson vs FSU, but I could see the loser of either of those games not dropping far if it's a close game(s) (like how UGA is ranked so high with a loss). Additionally, LSU pummeling UF only makes our case less strong. Sure, there could be a few upsets, but I dont think beating a 1-4 UNC team or a 3-3 Wake Forest team is going to cause us to leapfrog anyone.

That was the original "Game Of The Century", and the matchup that the BCS and the SEC went out of their way to make sure didn't happen again in the BCSCG. And how Florida got an undeserved MNC.

“@1991TigerGrad: What are the chances we see GAMEDAY back in Clemson next week?” Very, very, very good if Clem beats BC

I know someone touched on it already; unlikely they do FSU twice in 3 weeks?

If FSU and Miami are undefeated they will be in Tallahassee. So many story lines, ESPN would eat it up

IMO I could care less about gameday and ESPiN can eat a large pile of di.cks, I am not looking past UNC, they have played us tough for many years and I dont expect anything different next week.

After UNC we have wake...which I recall gave us a strong run for the money a couple of times. We have a long way to go before we have to think about those ga.y fu.cks up in talley

U mofos are fans. U can think about anything or team you please. We can talk about undefeated or whatever. The players and coaches on the other hand are the ones who should be thinking about UNC and only UNC.

If we beat FSU and VT keeps winning we might just maybe get Gameday at Miami.

No chance they pass up Tuscaloosa for Alabama/LSU to go to Miami.

It should go:

Week 8: Clemson
Week 9: Oregon
Week 10: FSU
Week 11: Alabama
Week 12: South Carolina or Baylor
Week 13: LSU
Week 14: UF or Michigan

I don't want Gameday to go to Tallahassee until they prove they can stay in Tallahassee.

with georgia and florida losing today, the only "competition" left for that weekend is okie state against texas tech. i can't see us losing out to that.

Miami #7 FSU #3, Florida and Georgia unranked. Gameday will be in tally no doubt, and we will most likely have the prime-time game i'll be out there supporting miami.

and get ready to hear a bunch of FSU ****sucking all day..... gonna be a long day waiting for kickoff

I hope this game isn't in primetime. It has the potential to get ugly on our behalf.

Don't feed into the Nole hype, they will collapse like they always do and we'll be sitting pretty in the top 5
