no sarcasm. our offense has been clicking for a few games now so I expect it'll continue next week. Our D will look even worse next week as well. If Duke can move the ball so well in the 2nd half, expect FSU to move it even easier.

Our offense hasn't looked that good the last few weeks, before today. We haven't been able to run for anything in the last 3 before today(especially against UNC and UVA), and our offense against GT wasn't good in general. We have had success throwing it, but FSU's D-line will make it very difficult for us to throw the ball next week, especially if we can't run the ball and they can pin their ears back and bull rush on obvious passing downs.

is it just me or does it seem like this defense only steps up with their backs to the wall in the redzone? they'll let a team stomp all over them for 80 yards but they get down to biz when they're in their own 20.

yeah that was my reasoning for it too. but it also allows less space for the cb's to give to the wr's. i think that tighter press helps out the d a lot.
