I was thinking the same thing... Pitt coach is playing for his job. Anything less than a sweep will be a low point for the program in what 50 years?
The sad thing is that most of us anticipated this from what we saw in the Fall.

I watched ETSU take 2 of 3 from Pitt in person (granted they beat Tennessee too)

I’d be in deep depression if we don’t win this series. Pitt is horrible

I honestly thought that Rad could hold off to May 1st to make a decision....After these last two mid week games a change is imminent. The team is lifeless, overmatched against FIU and Stetson.
If they lose 2 of 3 against Pitt, Rad needs to make a statement to the baseball community by getting rid of JD

With GTech and possibly Mississippi State looking for Managers at seasons end, it's imperative to start evaluating and interviewing prospective new hires.

They need to be doing virtual interviews in May. A few in person interviews squeezed into the week after the season and regionals. Rad gives the info to the unnamed person making the choices. Should have learned from the JD hire, you want a coach in place around the start of the portal.

We don’t need a coaching search. We hired JD and took care of pitching issues. We need to address our hitting woes and he is already in house.

Was a head coach too and won 23 games. Did lose like 90 but he didn’t have the talent in our current roster…
