Jackson Cleveland makes his debut as the closer
pretty sure around the 93 range, was more impressed with the offspeedsHow did Fischer look? What was he sitting at with the fastball?
After the 3rd batter Cleveland faced, they sent Fernandez to the bullpen to warmupWhen does Michael Fernandez get to see some action? First guy out of the dugout on Tuesday?
From watching on ESPN app, his FB is legit and seems to have late life. Cleveland, on the other hand, is certainly not your typical closer. I worry about how his stuff plays vs good hitters and I don't see how he bails himself out w a K in key situations.I thought Hugus’s breaking ball lost a little bit of shape. And the fastball tended to leak a little bit over the plate but other than that, I thought his spin rate must’ve been sensational. The RPM look really good on the fastball. That’s why it was missing bats at 93 miles an hour.
