Game 18: 3/11/25 UCF

They are off to a pretty good start. The bad teams they have played they not only beat but beat handily.

This would be a very good midweek win.

They swing it well, they have some legit arms, and they field it as well as anyone.

Their numbers are obviously a bit inflated but if we put guys on and kick it around they will hammer us. Be nice to have a nice clean 6-3 type W leading into Conf play.

Yeah definitely feels like this will be our toughest midweek game for sure.

This is our hardest midweek game, and the last "test" before ACC play. Since taking losses to Bryant, FAU, and usf, they are 6-0 with a run difference of 70 and beat the brakes off Florida 13-3. The bats need to come alive to win today

Antonio Jimenez tools were so good. Really wish we kept him.

Wallace is a baseball IQ/Fielding guy so he looks to already have unlocked that with Jimenez.
Why did we not sign his teammate LeBron? I mean they played on the same high school team . Who did the evaluation and decision to go for Jimenez?

Nah. Go with Giroux. We play better when we spot a team 3-4 runs early.
I Guess If You Say So GIF

We seem to run into that problem alot with good coaches. Link is a FSU alum so I seriously doubt we could pull him away. I don't know if O Sullivan would consider Miami either.
And Penders is a 3rd generation UConn guy. But there are plenty of quality baseball coaches out there. Which is why I was baffled with the last couple hires.
