Game 10: 2/28/25 Florida

Just compete....if we do lose all three make them wars where both teams pitch the **** out of it, no defensive miscues, and some good hitting. Not speaking for anyone else...I've said I take nothing from this series as I expect 3 losses. But 3 close one or even sneaking out a W would secretively get me starting to hope...and you know what hope has done to many of us across multiple Miami sports for years.

Really have no idea how we will do. We could get blown out three games or win some. UF struggled against USF and all of our wins have been against straight suckers. Some of those games looked like we were playing bad travel ball team on defense, The only good pitcher we faced we put up just a couple of runs. Our pitching looks good but is ranked team good? Will be an interesting series.

Robert has struggled to put batters away which has led to 5 IP his first two starts, compared with 6 IP for Walt and Hungus. If Robert can somehow manage to go 4 or 5 innings tonight and hand it off to Giroux for 3+ innings, then Giroux could concievably rest Sat, Sun, Mon, Tue and be ready to start next Wednesday vs Villanova, and we'd have the rest of the 'pen available Sat and Sun.
