Guess our transfers got it right : Torres hitting cleanup at Alabama , Carrier hitting 3rd at Pitt , Jimenez starting SS at UCF , Cyr in LF for the Crocs , JD Jones caught game 2 for Rutgers , Jordan Vargas - 6 inn , 3 wins and 1.50 ERA and Eric Fernandez is 10 - 37 with 9 RBI’s …. Guess time will tell but hopefully we get a sweep to start the year ..

Vargas and Cyr are obvious losses, I'm not sold that the rest will hurt that much.

Carrier had every chance but just never hit consistently, maybe Pitt figured something out or they aren't that good.I

I agree , I wouldn’t mind seeing Torres as DH this year BUT after 1 game the DH we are using now looks to be just fine . Just to Double down , Cuvet is NOT eligible this year .. Appears to be a mix up on info sheets handed down ..

Vargas is not a loss, he literally was not focused, sometimes kids need to get a reality check to get back on track. He was at the game last night with his Miami-Dade teammates, so clearly he doesn't have no hard feelings and understands why they cut him. Because if he did not think that, he would not show back up to the ballpark
