Gabe Taylor

To those of you saying “He has no offers.”or “He’s a first year player.” If a kicker had emerged as a first year player in Miami this year and was 17/20 on FG attempts with a couple 55+ yarders to his credit would you care how many offers he had or if it’s his first year? Anyone with a brain would say “Get this kid in a Canes uni this weekend.” Talent is talent and Gabe isn’t playing at some weak school either.

Kid got another pick tonight and returned it for a 40 yard TD. That makes 6 Ints and 5 returned for TDs this year. If y’all think that’s just a coincidence idk what to say. They talked about size with Bandy and it’s the reason he almost got away to Oklahoma but this kid is a Dawg... He needs a Canes offer RIGHT NOW!!!

Ok...but he IS a legacy.
So bloodlines over talent..I’d rather offer a underrated kid with measurables and at least a offer from someone..plenty of kids down here who you could throw offers at..this kids listed at 5”11 170..playing safety..if sanguitti wasn’t a take then this kids for sure isn’t

IMo you can’t make that comparison. I’m not sold yet on if he deserves an offer, but he’s a MUCH better athlete than Sanguinetti.

Sango wasn't a take because you could time his 40 with an hourglass and he couldn't jump over the 50-yard line.

Offer, the spirit of Sean T lives inside him

You're talking as if he doesn't have 5 int on the season...6 now apparently. He's also athletic. I'm not keen on his speed, but Sang was slow which is why he wasn't a take. He also wasn't a legacy. I'll gladly spent 8-9 years worth of scholarships on another Sean Taylor and Ray Lewis.

Also, before anyone makes assumptions because I know there are some idiots here. "8-9 years of schollies on another ST26" meaning if we could get another player of his caliber and give his son or sibling a scholarship as well.

you know how many kids around America have stats in HS..Edges neph had picks too 🤦🏾‍♂️..preferred Walk on yes..but a offer na..I’m not against recruiting legacy players at all but the only legacy in this class who needs a offer/push is Parrish

Jump over the 50 yard line..I don’t get that reference..what’s this kids measurables that wows you? The tape? The 40? Short shuttle?..or is it the ints and last name

First of all Sanguinetti had concerns about his speed and then he started with the games while his profile was pretty hot instead of trying to lock it down. I still feel like we should have taken him if he wanted in. Apparently this is Gabe’s first year but somebody’s gotta be his first offer and your logic is very flawed. When u see a talented kid who can make an impact you offer him. What’s this BS about waiting until he has other offers? Kid has 6 Ints and 5 returned for TDs. That doesn’t happen by accident. Now it doesn’t hurt that he’s a legacy but he’s very talented in his own right.

Hey 6 Ints is awesome and it also happens with lots of high school kids all around the country. Returning 5/6 for TDs 🤔 Now that’s next level. Miami needs kids who can generate points on defense. Sean was that type of guy and from the looks of things his lil brother is too. Now I’m DEFINITELY not saying he’s Sean but what I am saying is that what this kid is doing is what SPECIAL players do. We took Nigel Bethel and this kid has made more big plays in his one season playing. Get the kid here and put some weight on him, let him be a defensive TD machine at The U

His vertical was trash. It's a painted line... c'mon man.

I never said I was wowed by Taylor. But you tried to compare Sango's recruitment with Taylor's. That's just silly.

Sango tested way below average in just about every category for a DB. Meanwhile, I don't even think there are verified numbers available for Taylor because he'd previously been more focused on basketball.
