Didn't he lead the team in tackles one game? he can't cover his own mouth, but he provides solid depth specially on obvious rushing downs.

He may not be starting caliber, but in a normal rotation with proper depth I think he can be a solid backup to Kirby

Paul was a legitimate D1, BCS conference recruit. Was an Arizona State commitment. Had a legitimate Louisville and Tennessee offer. LSU had high interest in him, but only took one linebacker in 2011 (landed a Top 10 linebacker prospect).
Thrown into the fire a little early and been injured a bit...but not an FCS quality player.

I agree. I think in many ways the "hate for Paul" thing is due to Golden.... I guess most of us thought he was going to tear some stuff up after hearing Golden talk about him.
