Riley is a big dude at TE for the high school level. We always talked about our teams looking bigger, well while S&C and nutrition are very important it starts with who you recruit. Mauigoa, Thor and Riley all look bigger than our players going into their senior year.
What? Didn't you hear DAVID LAKE... (who the **** is David lake again by the way) dude don't know **** about football but he's throwing out all kinds of hot takes today. Stick with his trash *** sight and those morons over there. Any educated fan tells him shut it. You gonna make an assessment on a kid who needs real coaching to settle anywhere like Mario and Mirabal don't got this.
Not to really down play it but ....we have been getting IMG kids for quite some time. Doesnt really have anything to do with mario. I mean Steve Walsh was the AD for a few years if i can remember. One of things I was reading about the academics ar IMG is that they prepare the kids to enroll early into college. That's their standard. So, I don't have any a anemic concerns about a kid graduating from IMG.
I'm not a fan of IMG. They're good for the individual, but not the sport of high school football in my opinion.
You have to remember, IMG is a business. They're developing athletes so they can represent them when they enter professional sports. Not just with playing contracts, but endorsements as well.
They're a player in the game, so it's best to have a great relationship with them and Mario is already pulling kids from IMG. In the past, these kids have gone to Clemson, Georgia, and Alabama. He's establishing a pipeline from IMG to UM and it's all good.

We werent doing to bad there already. Especially considering alot of the colleges place the kids at IMG and alot of their kids are out of state kids anyway.
I still can’t believe this dude is coming to Miami.
The elite kids were already committed b4 transferring to IMG most of the time.....sort of what we just did.We never got the elite kids though
I remember when Richt first got here he said “where are all the big guys”? I don’t think he will have to be saying that when he visits again with the ACC network next year.
Either way, we never got ‘em…The elite kids were already committed b4 transferring to IMG most of the time.....sort of what we just did.
It’s always amazing how much better “development” is when you’re starting with 5 star guys.We always talked about our teams looking bigger, well while S&C and nutrition are very important it starts with who you recruit. Again IMG is always a unique recruitment AS ......Majority of their kids arent from FLORIDA....Add to it VERY SELDOM a kid from South Florida transfers to IMG.**** that list almost made me rethink us recruiting IMG . Definitely agree with @bobbydigius we getting higher quality players now.
Impossible. Gaytors say he is much smaller. And 17 year olds never grow, right...
David Lake is as mid as the rest of them. But he's a Cane, he went to Miami so I try to pick on others instead lol.
