Found this gem on ESPN comments. The one reason why I stay off of there.:

Chris Crowley · San Francisco, CaliforniaSorry to interupt recess Josh but this FSU team isn't the 2001 Cane team....it's better. Jameis vs Dorsey? If I need to support that then this is a wasted discussion with you. With Portis the Canes have the edge but in terms of depth I think that goes to the Noles. O'Leary vs Shocky? I'd take the blue collar Leary over the flash of Shockey any day. The 2001 Canes team Wide Outs don't match up to our big 3 this year. Reed and Taylor were very good but I think I'd stack Joyner right there with them. Throw in Telvin Smith, Jerrnigan and Christian Jones and I think the D's are a wash. The main player that makes FSU better than that Canes team is Jameis Winston. He is a once in a generation talent.

That Canes team was great but I think this FSU team is better. That being said I know this rivalry being a grad from 88 and I don't take the Canes lightly because anything can happen but realistically based on the play so far FSU deserves the large point spread with the game being in Tallahassee. We'll see come 80 EST on Saturday.

Want to get FSU posters in a frenzy?? Everytime you see a post from them write wide right, if they post again then write wide left, and just do that over and over again!

The safety thing is funny, but this is ridiculous too "With Portis the Canes have the edge but in terms of depth I think that goes to the Noles"

So the Noles currently have a stable of backs that is better than Portis, McGahee, Davenport, Gore? That's some funny **** right there; I want he's smoking.

EL OH EL! uhm....our defense? nothing compared to them? BAHAHAH Reed ***** on Joyner, who's their other safety? DJ Williams and Vilma **** on their backers any day... running backs? Portis, McGahee, Gore, Davenport, and Payton? Lulz...no depth. Shockey followed by Winslow? O'Leary...ahaha. Dorsey just had to hand it off to his stable of backs and laugh as they ran over everyone. Johnson by himself is better than their trio and I'll take Jones as a number 2.

ST couldn't even get on the field with the 2001 team and this idiot thinks Joyner could be anything but the towel boy. O'Leary over Shocky -- does this idiot know who was SECOND string behind Shocky? The real question is could ANY Nole from this year even make the travel squad of the 2001 Canes. The 2001 Cane team would bet Bama in the morning, take a nap and beat the living crap out of this Noles team that same night. Dorsey lost two games in 3 years, won a NC and got cheated out of another, and short change out of a third because the pity FSU got for all those years of getting Caned. I hope their team feels this way.

Funny how they are supposed to be that great, but wont even get in the big game over Oregon or Bama.

I hate them as much as anyone else. But thats not their fault. The ACC minus FSU, VT, & UM is suspect at best. Couple that with the "computer" rankings, and the system is a joke.

Then again, whats worse, BCS or Condoleeza Rice?

I could say the same about the Pac 12 too.... the media wants Stanford and UCLA to remain high to boost up Oregon's strength of schedule.

Stanford, UCLA, and Washington are all frauds.

there are no words to express the hilarity of this

/dead

Negged for postung this stupidity in the first place

Nick O'Leary has a good 7 games and all of a suddenly he's better than Shockey (and Winslow).

What about the offensive line? Seems like he dodged that position altogether. Wonder why.
