FSU Spreads

Per Danny Sheridan on Paul Finebaum Show:

"FSU's lowest spread this year as of now is currently projected to be -15 at Miami"

Was listening to The Finebaum Show part of some court mandated punishment for you? I'd have just taken the prison time.

I see you trolling. I'm hating

ya bc its goldens first year with upperclassmen who aren't disgustingly awful besides 2011 and that was his best year.

So what will be the excuse this year when they go 8-4 and give up 500 yards a game?

It's time for Golden to actually get a big win and beat these clowns.

A big win would be Louisville or Nebraska or Virginia Tech.

Florida State is a bit out of reach right now just because they've returned most of a MNC winning team and they've out-recruited us even in our own backyard over the past 6-7 years.

Anything can happen but don't count on it this year.

Remember when people were saying that the Florida win was a game-changer? Then they **** the bed the rest of the season and it meant nothing.

Even if we beat Louisville, if they have a mediocre season then it'll retroactively not be a big win anymore to some.

17 is a lot against Oklahoma State in what is more or less a road game. They won't cover.

And they won't cover 15 at Miami especially if it's at night. That's a 7-10 point loss if turnovers are even. If Miami wins the turnover battle by at least 2 that should put them over the top.

Am sorry FSU is not gonna give us ****. Golden and the team need to go beat them and earn it. Tons of time we have played them as huge dog and sent them home crying. That mindset is all but drained from the team. Even Shannon went 2-2 against them even though they were on the down. U have to win 1 of 4. U cant keep using talent as an excuse. Coaching is a great equalizer. Thats how upset happens. Wont hold my breath though

Unless Winston gets injured before playing us, that is about the most guaranteed L I've seen since the 96-98 era.

If we beat Louisville that means we're going to have a good season.

Everybody loved Golden until the wheels fell off the bus, which was either the Duke or VT game. The defense fell apart, the team lost a bunch of games in a row, the recruiting class fell apart, and Golden lost about half the fan base.

I don't think the division is permanent.

I don't think people hate Golden, they hate losing and especially the way we were losing toward the end.

If the team sucks next year, then he'll lose the other half of the fan base and probably get fired. If the team improves and looks like it's on its way to where we all want it to be, then most of the mopers will hop back on the bandwagon.

Some people are just worn out because we DID play like crap for a long stretch last year, including the bowl game. That's understandable.

I think FSU drops 2 games this year. 1 of those losses will be to UL. By the time FSU plays them, they will be humming. I think the other loss will be to us. And no- I didn't bump my head....just the way I see things playing out...

May be the best post I've seen on here.

I think people are seriously overrating Louisville. Bridgewater and the defensive players they lost were their best players and really made the team what it was. Petrino can coach all he wants but FSU trumps them in talent tremendously, and its not like FSU is not a well-coached team either. Winston vs any team is an automatic 30+ points, who's going to score for UL, with a new QB, against FSU, top 5 defense and two projected first round DBs?

FSU OL vs Louisville DL will be hilarious.
FSU DL vs Louisville OL will be hilarious.
FSU's secondary vs Louisville receivers also should be hilarious.

Last year was what, FSU -20?

You know what that means?

#TrendingUp

I think you mean we have a home game this year so they are being generous and giving us a few points.......

**** it man! This is like someone giving you an ice cream and then telling you it's made out of **** after you've taken the first bite. Can we just "trend up" our hopes without it getting **** on?

I thought the Florida game was a big win but I agree that he needs to beat a really good team.

It was a big win. That day, they were ranked 12th I believe, 3 point favorites on the road and got beat.

So much fun that day, pre and post tailgate.

Any win against either of those **** storms to the north is a big win.

Spread are really just to show who are the popular teams to win it. FSU will lose 2 games this year. They have too many losses on the defense and not enough play makers coming back. They will be Texas A&M last year, explosive offense but too many holes everywhere else.

We will cover, this will be a close game; its a rivalry.

Is what I kept repeating to myself curled up in a ball of sadness as the entire Canes section at Doak I was in dispersed and left me in a 10 yard radius of my seat all by myself.
