Wow - Toral!! Maybe his best Ab of the year - 0 - 2 count and he stayed closed and just tried to go w the pitch. Let's get some more and not allow them to hang around.

The Lord of NO Rings looks like an extra from the Walking Dead.

I can only imagine that he sits and wonders where all went wrong, all those talented teams.....nothing.

If we never sniff another post-season, we've beaten that ********** every way from Sunday.

Kind of like Bowden...100 years in the top 5, but but but only the two titles.
 
Martin ALWAYS "over" manages. He is bringing out his 3rd pitcher and will use at least 2 more before the game ends....

He continually "over" manages in Omaha. He either leaves a starter in for 140 pitches or uses too many pitchers. During the regular season, he is calmer, but the moment that the games matter, he starts substituting players or "leaning too hard" on his starters....

Great, great catch. Risky. That could have been the game if he misses. At least 2 and probably three runs if he misses that catch.
 
This game isn't over by a long shot. Let's win the first game, let alone the series, before we start bashing them. We have had trouble putting teams away, and it's easy to relax after a emotional grand slam.
 
This is his last inning. Also, if he allows one batter on base during the 7th, you have to pull him. He starts to wilt at 85 pitches and he just reached that threshold.

Federman getting loose. I'm for allowing McKendry to implode a little before giving him the hook. FSU hits like chit.

Great strategy by Martin. Go to the mound and berate your pitcher. That will help immensely.... His teams play "so tight" at the most in opportune time!

This is big time. Getting deep into their bullpen, while Evan gave us 7 scoreless. Should be a big advantage the rest of the weekend.
 
Love the focus tonight - timely hitting, great starting pitching and solid defense so far.
