I realize we havent played yet, but did anyone else feel more confident after watching the rapist crab thief and his boys play? If Kayaa/Williams proves to be a game manager we can take these fools in our house!

Was at the game. They are good but did not look like #1 team in country. Even their fans were quiet after the game was over. Wore my Canes hat and longsleeve
 
Because we really needed another FSU thread...how bout we win first on Sept 1st before we start looking ahead to Nov 15th.

first: we haven't played yet. we don't know how good or bad we may be.

If you have six months to game plan a team, anyone could win or lose.
Ex: North Dakota State vs Kansas State.

Or you could post this **** in any of the other threads talking about FSU instead of making a new thread for your one stupid opinion...nothing downer about talking about game 1 instead of the ******* 3rd to last game of the season.
 
I bet all these "Cane" fans that are sticking up for an underwhelming FSU showing last night will be the first to bich about a 37-34 Miami win.

True, they didn't look like world beaters. Still, we have no idea what we got, yet.
 
most teams improve over the course of the year if they stay healthy....


Miami most certainly should with all of the young talent gaining experience...


there are many variables that will play out before UM meets FSU....




I think the $EC has come back to the rest of CFB and it is wide open this year....
 
One game does not foretell a season, but what I found most interesting is that a lot of the hyped freshmen didnt play (Cook) or didnt do anything (Rudolph and Lane).

What was surprising was their offense looking inconsistent. Don't know why people were hyping up their defense so much though. They lost a ton of talent, and Pruitt. Of course they have more talent but you never know how that's gonna come together.

They didn't look good against BC early last year either. Unfortunately, by the time we play them their offense and defense will probably be settled by then.
 
Is what it is.... a lot of top ranked teams didn't look great either yesterday
 
OSU hung in there by getting pressure on Winston and confusing him. It remains to be seen whether our defense is capable of that.
