And THIS is why I've always had an issue with relying mostly on the transfer portal to build a program. When you have a team of mercenaries, there's little pride in the program, it's a job. That's why when things go left, they really go left with these transfer portal only teams. All it takes is a couple of bad evals and you're now screwed. The Portal is a SUPPLEMENTAL tool, the bulk of your program should be people that chose, with everything on the line to come to your school. Not people that chose someone else, flamed out, and then came to you. Yes, you get some stars that hit the portal for unique reasons(Cam Ward wasn't going to come back and play at a Wazzu program with no future), but there's a reason why most people in the portal are in the portal and most of those reasons aren't good.
