We were sitting in section 149 row 4 and all of the recruits rolled by us coming off the field before the game started. Did recognize J. Carter coming up and was fist bumping the fans. Good size for a high school DT.

This is the guy I was hoping would say this. He is extremely important to the future of the OL.

4-star IOL SJ Alofaituli | No. 88 overall prospect, No. 6 IOL (Miami commit)
+++ “I mean, this really just sealed the deal for me seeing the dominance on the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. It just showed that practice makes perfect. What they’ve done on the field and off the field, it showed tonight.”

Venice (Fla.) Top247 EDGE Asharri Charles is also a coveted target for the Hurricanes next cycle and he enjoyed taking in another visit to Miami.

"In the second half, I saw the team finish how they needed to finish," Charles said. "The fans, the environment, it was good. The fans kept coming up to me telling me to go here. They showed love, they was supportive. It was just a good all around trip."

"They're definitely in the top five. They're a great program. They're consistent. I like it here," Charles added. - InsideTheU Recruit Reactions

Southwest Florida native Kendall Guervil is another Top247 talent who was back in Miami for a second home game this season.

Miami is looking like a team that will be a top contender for the 6-foot-4, 265-pounder.

"Miami did really good. I was overall impressed with tonight, especially with their d-line because I believe it starts out front first. It was just impressive and Miami just impresses me every time I come down here," Guervil said.

Johnnie Jones26OL4*
Tampa (Fla.) Berkeley Prep Top247 offensive lineman Johnnie Jones is considered one of the best in the country next cycle and likes what he's seeing from Miami.

"I told them during the summer that I would come back for this game because we were off, so I just wanted to stay true to my word and show up like I told them. The game was great. It was a live environment. It was loud. It was tough in the first quarter, but the second to the fourth they picked it up and played how this whole year."

"They are one of the ones at the top out of everyone I have," Jones added. -InsideTheU
