WR Devin Street for Pitt is a man y'all will see tonight. The rest of the offense is new so they likely don't stand a chance. They did get a 5 star OT in the 2013 recruiting class though. We'll see if he's good enough to hold up as a freshman against the FSU pass rushers. They have a new QB and new RBs.
 
FSU lose all but one starter from the front 7. They lost their DC and alot of other assistants.

Pitt's defense returns 8 starters from a unit that ranked 23rd in scoring (21.1), 31st in rushing (136.4), 20th in passing (194.2), and 17th in total (330.5).

They will not be a push over trust me. I think they will win the game straight up, no joke

I hear you but if you can't score you can't win and Pitt lost everything on offense last year. If Rushel Shell was still there this game would've been dope.

They have the talent to only lose 1-2 games, but with all of the NFL losses and coaching changes, they will likely lose 3-4.
 
The yearly preseason hype for them is unreal.
Freshman starting at QB and instead of a question mark he's tabbed as a possible Heisman candidate and FSU to go BCS bowling.
 
QB is Savage and he has been around for years. Think he was at Rutgers and transferred and then transferred again. Being older and having some talent he won't be intimidated especially at home. Now the all american who has never played a down and is the next Ward could face all kind of problems. If i was the Pitt DC the kid would never get the same look.
 
I hate FSU as much as the next guy but unless Winston has a horrible game they win this easy. I mean just with the running game they can blow this one wide open before half.


They don't play anyone decent until Clemson 6th game (8 weeks because of 2 bi weeks)
by that time if Winston is good he will have enough time to adjust.

Lets see this kid play some games before crowning him the next Vick.
I remember another 5* #1 qb recruit who was 6'3" 220lbs and ran 4.5, named Xavier Lee.
This could be Michael Vick. He could be Marcus Vick or Xavier Lee.
More likely he will be something in the middle AFTER his freshman season.
A lot different when the defenses are allowed to hit the qb.
 
Going to be a good game to watch.
We play both these teams so this is like a film session for all of us armchair coaches.
 
2+ losses this season, just like every year. Overhyped as usual, and their QB may be good, but ESPIN is ready to crown him before he plays a single game. Color me unimpressed. Again.

I really look forward to watching Winston tonight. From the little I've seen, he's not technically clean.
 
Have you guys seen Pitt lately? Seriously, FSU could walk out their second team and walk-ons and win by 17.

Pitt is not a pushover. They had all type of problems with the coaching hires preseason, and they were under a new coach. They played ND tough as **** and should have won. They are not pushovers. Their defense was miles better than ours last season and they return 8 starters like i said earlier. They will give Winston problems at home, no doubt about it. Their problem is FSU D will be just as tough for their offense. But i think they will keep it close regardless
 
I think Pitt keeps it close for the first half, maybe even takes the lead into the half. Then FSU comes alive and wins by 14 plus with their usual lucky stuff. A muffed punt, pick 6 on a blown route, that kind of lucky. Then the media will resume the **** polishing and rank them as high as they can get away with.

I hope I'm wrong, I would love to see them fail. Living in here in Tallahassee makes it rough, more so when FSU is doing well.
