Jeanty is such a fuggin beast but buddy is getting broken down

A lot to ask of a RB to keep his pace

Yeah I said as much last week when people were talking about him being the Heisman leader. I think you have to take into account his competition. First he’s not taking the nearly the abuse that he would in the P4. He’s an elite RB but it’s a different animal when getting cracked every week by 240 lb LBs running a 4.4. He wouldn’t be getting the kind of yards he has. The hits take a toll. He’s in a G5 and the last two games and it’s clear he’s definitely slowing down, it would have happened much faster in the P4.

And for those who say “but Oregon” yes, he had a fantastic game against them. He had fresh legs then. I think it was the second game of the season. I doubt he’d get anywhere near those rushing numbers if BSU played Oregon now. His coaching staff is wearing him out . Barry Sanders was able to it because he was the most nimble RB I have ever seen, he didn’t have an overly physical running style. Jeanty is more old school and doesn’t shy away from contact. It’s impressive but also grinds RBs down. That’s why you rarely see 33 year old RBs in the NFL.

Outside of uga/uf all those games should be competitive. Not a bad Saturday
I'm not expecting Florida to beat Georgia, but stranger things have happened. Remember, Georgia beat Kentucky 13-12, while Florida spanked the crap out of them. Florida is improving.

As much as I hate Florida, I hope they find a way to keep it close, and hopefully win.
