Forston actually made the Patriots...

His 2nd to last year here he was real tough to block in the run game for a number of teams. last year was a wash cause he got hurt in the spring and never was fully recovered and gets hurt again early in the year. Golden was talking about how he was in much better shape and was rehabbing well. i don't get mad at a guy who can't stay healthy. probably a lot more frustrating for him than any of us. he only played 2 seasons where he was for the most part healthy - freshman year and his 3rd year. he provided some decent pressure his freshman year and 3rd year he had some games where you felt he was starting to put things together (especially that Ohio State game and Notre Dame game).

and being a Patriot fan, we always grab a guy like Forston and get production out of them. Mike Wright, Myron Pryor, Deadrick - low round/rookie free agents who when put with Wilfork get single blocks and do pretty good against that.

thats a big middle finger to our fanbase for knocking him every sec

Usually I'd agree with you, but unlike guys like Beason, CMac, KP and Calais, Forston actually was pretty bad here. Happy for him to achieve his dream coming out of the Pork-N-Beans.

I disagree I think he had a strong 2010 season... He didnt get much sacks but he led the team with 13 tfls and he had an impact on a pretty strong dline... He hd some injuries that took him out... He only had 1 healthy season and that was 2010... I don't think he was bad just unlucky...

The injuries he suffered did not help. If you are a tru Canes fan you will root for our guys no matter what. Stop being bitter and move on. Don't wish the kid bad to make yourselves feel better. Instead lest celebrate the future and the storm that is brewing down here. Go Canes.

I'm not surprised because he was having a good pre-season... He clogged holes and got tfls... I'm happy for the kid... I hope he has an healthier career... They need Dts he may actually make the rotation...

Not going to hate on him. I for one am glad he decided to move on. He wasn't doing anything but taking up a scholarship.

We were like 90th against the run in 2010. I don't remember us being strong up front at all that year.
