Former Nebraska DE Suttles signs with Miami

I'm hear brother. I just didn't think Coach Golden would touch the situation.

Lets hope the young man learned from it and conforms to structure and discipline...

Speaking of which I gotta find 561Cane's comment saying Miami wasn't involved with Suttles. Neg on the way.

One thing I think you can be certain on is that Al and the staff did their research before getting involved
every situation is not a direct result of a kids character...some situations are isolated incidents...

The kid probably has stipulations with his scholly but he should be fine...

His high school coach makes him sound like a Boy Scout.
I'm sure there is more about this fight that we don't and never will know about versus what we do know.
He looks like a savage on the football field, and that works for me.
For the first year just keep him away from blunt objects and sharp instruments.
2nd year make sure brass knuckles are part of his game time kit.

Bennubird, What Up Nupe! They seem to only get excited about kids from Armwood and Plant, But when I saw this kid last year I told my Buddy recruiters should be all over this kid. They could not block him and like his coach said he was very aggressive and fast for a kid his size. I see most of the better kids in Hillsborough Cty and Suttles and Hargraves (uf) were by far the best talent in the county. I was so stoked when his name came up as a possible late addition. If he aint the real deal in 2015 I will wear a Tebow jersey to next seasons spring game.

From a skill stand point this kid looks like he could take off and do some things in
Al's system...time will tell...The good thing is we finally have leaders on this team that
are helping the young guys come up...

Saw this kid play and just figured the recruiters were all over him. He dominated the game I saw. Fast and very agressive just like his coach said! We needed something good to happen for us and fellas its fate we got him. If he's not a stud for us next spring I'll wear a Tebow jersey to the spring game.

How did Tommie Frazier end up in Nebraska?

I was thinking the same thing!

At the time Frazier graduated from HS Nebraska's option offence was a perfect fit for Frazier's skill set. It really worked out well for him and I believe he got a national championship out of it. The big three in Fl. all offered but they all probably had a position change for him as part of their plans.

And in the end, although they were not actually proven right, if Frazier´s goal was to earn money in the NFL, he likely should have gone with them. Treon and Ice need to heed this.

Frazier did have a medical issue that ended his career...

Tommie Frazier had a history of blood clots and was often given blood thinners.

Sounds like his buddy started some siht, and you gotta stand with your buddy when multiples take him on, even though he may be the ***** that started the whole thing. We've all been there, and you can't just watch two or more jump your buddy, even though he deserved it. One on one - fine. Two or more on one - no way.

Likely, these guys that were somehow attacked were tight with the team, and the team vote could only go one way.

I'll bet Suttles hangs with a better class of teammates from this point forward. I can almost guarantee it.

Read what I said about Hurlie Brown. He had an incident after he signed with UM but before he enrolled. It involved a cop I believe and might have been blown out of proportion. As far as I know, he never had another and seems clearly to have been an anomaly. We don't know all the details of this alleged incident. Maybe he was attacked by the teammate he allegedly hit. Even the most disciplined, mild-mannered person might do something out of character if the provocation is severe enough.
