I will forever remember 2024 as the season when Stanford fücked us.

That is all.

Stupid , We won 10 games for the 2nd time in 20 years....But keep whining.
When you leave it up to others-

This is what happens-

Especially when it comes to Miami bias-

The last time I whined was when Penn St beat us in the Fiesta Bowl and Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl-

Lol.

We are to blame-We had everything in front of us and blew it-

This is what happens when you leave up to someone else-

Cristobal, look in the mirror it’s on you period-

GT and Syracuse are mediocre teams at best-

Enough excuses.
So is UGA a mediocre team? I mean they we're a targeting call away from losing to GT and struggled with UF.

That’s the problem with you and the committee, yall think SEC is the ******* NFL. Bama lost to TWO TEAMS that are .500!!!!! They beat Georgia, who lost to Ole Miss, who lost to 4-8 KENTUCKY!!! They nearly lost to the same GT we lost to. So why are they holding that Georgia win so high??? Those schools are not as strong as they used to be

Even if we made the ACCCG and lost we weren’t getting in. Only way we get in without winning the ACC was if we went into it 12-0. You’ll see this weekend if Clemson wins the ACC SMU will be on the outside looking in as well.

What? I’ve never **** about SEC-

Of course their overrated-It’s the ******* committee-

That’s exactly my point -

When you leave up to those fools-You get screwed.

No their a good team but, not great -

Then you can say they beat #2 Texas pretty good, they beat Tennessee, yeah they struggled with UF but, won 34-20-

My point is with the committee-If you leave up to those fools you’ll get screwed.

You just said GT and Syracuse are mediocre teams. GT nearly beat Georgia, Syracuse is 9-3 with the BEST passing offense in all of college football. But you did not say that Bama lost to mediocre teams in Vanderbilt and Oklahoma (both are worse than GT/Syravuse)

Prease.

Educate me.
Duke should be ranked and Louisville would be ranked if it didn’t lose to Stanford, both of which would have eliminated one of the primary arguments made by the committee—that Bama was 2-1 against the top 25 and we were 0-1. And if you consider Missouri was over ranked all season (dropped 4 spots losing to Bama by 34 and zero spots losing to USCe), we would have the same or better record vs the top 25 in comparison to Bama.

So there is an argument the overall rankings are manipulated to benefit SEC teams. Seems to be valid or at least indicative of systemic SEC bias, but they would’ve found another reason to put Bama or someone else in.

I really appreciate this explanation. frfr.

You could you the same rational for every team that is in the final 12 with the exception of Oregon their undefeated-

Agree with you and what your saying-

My main thing you leave up to the committee they are biased toward Miami with their SEC and Big Ten favoritism.

I think it was a combination of lville losing that game therefore slightly being outside top 25 currently, also GT not holding on the beach UGA...duke not being ranked makes no sense either. Could have had 4 ranked teams on the final week of the season on our schedule and went 2-2 in them. Might have been enough. Who knows
