Flying Banners during Satellite Camps...

A poster, I believe (Canes2082) posted in a thread that we should fly a banner over the locations of Michigan and Ohio St. football camps. Just trying to gauge how many people would be interested and what should be placed on the banner.

About to start a fan war with this one... They will be flying banners over all our home games.

Its hilarious but a bad idea, OSU's band alone has a bigger and more supportive fanbase than our football team. Its the equivelant of north korea talking **** to the US and China.

I don't think the original Op was implying that the banner message should be negative in nature but instead aim at our local recruits. A message to stay at home and Rep the []_[]. More fun in nature than malicious.

I hate them staking claims in our gold rich territory as much as anyone, but I also recognize that it may also mean a scholarship offer for a deserving kid that may not make it to college otherwise. If there is a chance that one kid can now go to college and graduate because he was given another platform to display his talents, then I can live with satellite camps. Dudes **** changes. I got through college on Pell Grants and didn't owe a dime when I graduated, but banks changed that and many middle and lower class people can't afford to saddled with $50+ in debt immediately after graduating.

Cmon, how you gonna down vote this? Totally true. We'd fly 2 banners, and osu would have banners flying over every game, campus, and Richt's house. Too many of those *****es to get into a financial ****ing match.

Here is a better idea, SHOW UP TO GAMES!
Help bring a nice, positive, environment to home games so the kids we are recruiting will want to be a part
of this program.
Stop with the stupid banner stuff.

You sissies. I TOTALLY endorse this idea....after we have a double digit win season as then their retaliation will be pointless. Otherwise, the guys cautioning against starting a war with two of the largest fanbases in the country while we're still technically "down" are right. I could also see doing so now as something that'd probably really irritate Richt.
 
I don't think a banner stating...(for example)
"Stay home and Rep the []_[]" would alienate those other universities.

The fans don't go to games, every fan base laughs at us because of that, they laughedaat us because of the Golden banners and now this? **** no
