Florida tix sold out. Season tix almost gone

I got 3 from stubhub last week in top area of lower section around the 5 yrd line of the U side for $173 ea. Same area 50 yrd line was $400. Was worth it cuz I knew this was going to happen and tix for the gen public aren't till Aug 5! Better move quick cuz the price will probably increase

Usually with stubhub, prices decrease the closer you get to the game, and people realize they still have their tickets and no one is buying them.

True statement, and if you're willing to wait till right till kickoff, you can get great seats for well under market value if said secondary market is still trying to sell them. Almost 8,000 is a very large number given the game is about 7 weeks away.

Stubhub.... 7,849 tickets available... lowest price $100 ......Club sideline $2,174

That's where they went. Just like website domains, the leeches grab up stuff that they think will be valuable in the future to profit off of.

As for season tickets being nearly sold out, we hear the same thing every year and then the place looks like a Rick Springfield concert at the state fair.

Jesse's girl is gonna be there.

I got in on the young alumni deal. Lower bowl 30yd line, visitor side, about halfway up. Two season tix for about $450 a piece. I live 3 hours away from the stadium so I figure I can sell whatever I can't go to. Might be able to recoup my costs if the Canes do well down the stretch.

Ummmm....no. You're not recouping anywhere near what you shelled out for those two tix. Our home schedule is garbaso sans UF ad VT. You won't get much at all for the other ones.

FAU = 50
UF = probably worth 400 (I'm going)
Savannah St =25
Ga Tech=75
Wake=75
Va Tech=150
Va=100 (if late in season were playing well)

Total =$875 if my math is right. I think those prices are a conservative estimate of what I can get for 2 tix. If I'm right then we are playing well....if I'm wrong, then...we are in for a long season.

LULZ. You're one of those dudes who lists a chewed piece of gum on ebay with a reserve of $30.00.

ive been doing the young alumni deal for the last 2 seasons (this will be my third) and i havent paid more than 95 per ticket including donation. parking costs me more than my season tix. u must have donated a ton to HC

I'm done with season tickets. I donate to the HC and business school, but thats it. The secondary market is just too good and that stadium is just way too big (with the added luxury of being inconvenient and overpriced parking) for our fan base. My last purchase was in Sect 112 and I **** near had to go to the hospital for dehydration for the Kansas State and BC games.

I go to Stubhub etc and find great seats at reasonable prices, and because of my work schedule, life, and commitments I cant go to every game anyway. I know that takes me out of superfan status but I do what I can do.

If someone pays $25 bucks for the Savanaha St. Pony show they need to be committed, or they have a kid on the team.

have you never taken a economics course??? why pay $50 for FAU and $25 for Savannah State when you can pay $5 for them on stubhub???

I agree on the VA Tech and UF prices though. people want to see our team win!!! I think you can get more like $500 dude!! not bad!!

Cheapest lower sideline for Savannah St is $17 on stub hub......so still planning on getting $25 for my tix for savannah st.

Gator fans are grabbing the 2 for 239 season tickets up like they were cane fans...I was at a party for a neighbors kid that his family are Bull gators 3rd generation crap blah blah....at least 6 of the guys I spoke with grabbed them up and said they would sell the rest on Stub hub or craigs list...he said the miami ticket office was laughing about it saying we will sell to anyone that has the cash!! Now the bull guys all got great seats in the lower bowls from US allotment or alumni, so why the 239 tickets then?? So we can pack that place and prove there are more gator fans in S FL than cane fans...I had to laugh..they estimated at least a 1000 if not more gator fans have purchased season tickets from UM...WOW
Any way we can check on that before game day??

this has been the case for the last two uf-miami games in miami. i sorta think your admin plans ahead with an idea this is likely to happen. demand for season tickets for you guys usually isn't high, so your admin includes deals for a game like uf in there to draw interest. i doubt they care that gator fans are buying the tickets because they're getting full price for a season package. it shouldn't be that way though since you risk having close to half of the fans in attendace for the game being gators, last game i think we had like 20k but i guess the money is all they care about.

like i said earlier i bought the season tickets and know a few other people who did the same. i'll just sell the rest but it guarantees me a **** good seat for a price that isn't expensive.

No offense but how the **** would they be able to "estimate" how many of their fans bought season tickets to get tickets for this game? They've never had more fans or even close and they won't this time.
