I feel like Pope staying committed had more to do with Cooney rather than Dugans. He did not have any control over that WR room at all, so I do not see it as a big loss.

Rumor has it that Dugans is being brought in at FSU as WR coach, which we all could have guessed but apparently there's also smoke that Hartley is going to be brought in as an analyst there. Again, I get that Manny did the right thing, but those 2 added to their staff will have deep FLA ties all around.
you mean we are going to lose more than 18 out of the 20 top South Florida recruits now?

You can't be 104th in total offense at UM and get retained. Where were all the high profile offensive recruits since Hartley was such a savage on the trail? Cmon man! Dugans gets a lot of credit as well, The WR room had a lot of drama in 2018 also. I saw a lot of kids teasing UM and bolting for UF, UGA, Ala, OSU, LSU, FSU .... UM will be fine w/o Hartley and Dugans and all 3 units TE/ST/WR will be much improved next season.

Dugans is a strong recruiter, but our WR room was an absolute trainwreck this year. Started the wrong guys, more drops per game than Ive ever seen in my life, fractured group with diva behavior out of control, no continuity at the position at all. Dugans gets credit for the good things he has done, so rhe blame for this also has to fall large on his shoulders.

Canning the ENTIRE offensive staff was savage, symbolic, and needed.

And was Hartley not our ST coach? This year was THE worst special teams Ive ever seen at any level. We'll recruit north Florida if we win again. We dont HAVE to have Hartley to do that.

Manny did the right thing.
