"It was a crazy summer in which Jake Kreul saw his recruitment explode, and now he is ready to make game visits and Miami gets a chance to set the bar for the No. 56 overall prospect and No. 7 edge rusher in the 2026 class.

"The Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy standout visited Miami in the spring, and he is returning for Saturday's home opener against Florida A&M. The Hurricanes have a lot of juice after dominating the season opener at Florida, and it shows in what is an impressive visitor list for an FCS opponent.

"Kreul, who played at Orlando (Fla.) Bishop Moore his first two seasons of high school, has a ton of options, and he will make a bunch of visits, but the Hurricanes have a chance to make an early statement in his recruitment." Brian Dohn, Northeast and Florida
