I think every coach dreams of coaching in the NFL, so yea, for him it probably was better than staying here.
 
I don't think Fisch wanted to stay in the college game. He doesn't strike me as a motivator of college men.

But he picked a job where he will at least get 2-3 years, Jax is not doing well from a talent perspective to see how good he really can do.
 
He struck while the iron was hot. It may bite him in the ***, but i think he and Al had different visions of what this offense should be.

That's a big thing on a coaches resume coaching in the nfl and Prbly a dream of his...

Can't knock him for doing what he thought what was best
 
He had his faults as an OC, but **** that guy could coach up a QB. Jacory and Morris both made HUGE strides under him.

Yes. The Jags job was just a means to an end. It was an OC gig in the NFL. Those don't grow on trees especially for guys with only two years of exerpience as a coordinator (in college, no less).

He had a pic posted of him and kelvin Taylor during the Florida uga game. He was sporting his gator polo.
 
Fisch was a great teacher. Morris looked amazing under him the last 4 games of last season. He actually made Jacory look half decent also.
 
Jeff Fisch gets a pass at Jacksonville. He's got nothing, absolutely nothing to work with on offense. Look Jedd Fisch is a bright guy but the deification of him I find interesting. Against Virginia Tech last year, Miami was 1 for 12 on 3rd down conversions. Yes, that was last year.

Fisch was not ready for the NFL as an OC. He wasn't ready to be an OC in college his first time around either. His offense finished 109th at Minnesota. Fisch has benefited from all of his jobs more than his employers have. The guy is OJT all the way. Not bad for him, just the people paying him.
