Skyman, what's your take on Flowers as a prospect?

Overall prospect? I think he is great. I havent seen someone do something like this to a favored team since Roscoe stunned the mighty bulls of northwestern with his undermanned miami high team. I sat on the Heritage side and they didnt know anything about Jackson and I heard older women saying things like "wow that qb is good, he throws a nice ball". Kid can throw dimes but then misses some easy passes. But when he flicks that wrist, wow...

Now looking at it from a UM-he wants to play qb perspective. I dont really see a qb at the next level. Can he do it, sure. But knowing the coaching he is getting now. you will be getting an extremely raw talent. To play qb he will need a coach that believes in him 100% and wants to build the offense around him. Will we want to do that? Especially if we have Olsen on the roster? I doubt it. He is a prospect that I couldnt be mad at the staff if they cant get him because he might be sold on playing qb in college. Kid is super talented though, could also play safety. Dude just put the team on his back tonight.

Thanks skyman. From what I saw, his best long-term position is safety but I believe he can be a college QB. Great arm and huge hands which can allow him to play bigger a la Drew Brees.

Either way, he shouldn't leave the city.

If he don't get a chance at QB here, he will elsewhere and will be a stud elsewhere.

I think he has a BIG arm, but not a "great" arm, if you know what I'm saying.
