Seriously.... our Tight Ends suck balls. They can't block, they can't catch, they can't do anything right. And you can't really use the "youth" excuse with these guys either.

As recruiting coordinator, he hasn't recruited one player that I'm aware of. Not one.

I bet he smokes a lot of weed, though. Just a guess.

Besides Walford, he has Cleveland/Dye/Perry

What exactly does he have to work with?

Ok #1 he's our recruiting coordinator, so you fire him and now you already got an issue. #2 we have not one tight end who's a catching TE, walford played basketball in high school and DYe and Perry came to the U as DE. God everyone needs to get off this staff back, they've done more with this team than we could have prayed for

And where's all the west coast talent he was supposed to bring to Miami? I don't think I've ever heard a recruit mention his name..

I don't agree with firing him.. Just would like to see some production from our TEs.. He does have 2good ones coming next year.. So well see if the problem is dlinemen converted to TEs or the coaching..

1. He can't catch passes for them
2. He can't make Morris throw passes between their numbers and not over their heads

This.

He doesn't have much to work with. Cleveland is the only one worth a **** and he seems lost out there too. We'll see how he does with Dobard and Johnson..

It seems like the recruiting philosophy changed a bit. When AG first got here, he mentioned recruiting nationally. But, so far, we've focused on the South, East Coast, Carolinas, and Midwest. I don't believe this was Carroll's decision. If anything, the staff decided that there's enough talent in these places.. No need to try and convince a kid to visit miami when another recruit of the same caliber lives an hour away

I think our TEs are decent and will redeem themselves.

Nope, they're blow.Slow and can't catch.Walford did all he could today to help Clemson get back in the game.Wouldn't surprise me if he got a game ball from the NC ST coaching staff.

He brings his dads DNA meaning competitiveness, plays, philosophy's. It's not like Pete was standing on USC's sidelines filling water bottles handing out towels, he was their TE coach. He was there through that era of greatness for USC. So he knows what it takes to win, he knows the game, he knows how to act with players. Im friends with Blake Ayles if you guys remember was a transfer last year from USC at TE but couldn't play to many conclusions, he said Pete is the best and knows what the deal is and how to recruit very well.

If there's ANYTHING about the TE position we should be asking it's, Asante, dude what happened you showed a flash freshman year and 2 seasons now you've been a ghost. At somepoint these players have to start being held accountable.

what would you want carroll to do, catch the ball for the TEs? coaching can do so much, the players have to make the plays. the one walford missed was high and hard, bad pass. the one 82 dropped was hit fault.

This thread is completely stupid.

He has 4 TE's to work with. Of the 4, only 1 actually played TE in high school. And that one had pretty much no other D1 offers other than us coming out of high school. Thank Randy

Can't make chicken salad out of chicken ****.
