Can’t wait to lose to ECU, WVU, Syracuse, Washington, Arizona State, Pittsburgh, and UCLA. FYI we shouldn’t lose to these guys sanctions or no sanctions.

Yeah - a very small mind just might make that mistake - happen to recall when Saban at Alabama lost to Louisiana Monroe?

Look at some of Urban's losses. Switzer, Stoops - all coaches lose a game here and there -

Saban lost to Monroe his first year...hasn’t won less than 10 games since.

Barry Switzer won less than 9 games 3 times in 15 years at OU.

Bob won less than 10 games 4 times in 16.

Butch went over 9 once...

Ah! But NONE of them ever lost 31 scholarship players during their first two years - NONE of them!

You simply can't compare apples to apples - you gotta disallow all the supplemental facts to his record at UM.

None of them lost to ECU(twice), Pittsburgh, VT, Syracuse, Washington, Arizona State, and UCLA with superior...because good coaches don’t lose to inferior opponents. Butch just went over 8 wins for the first time since 2000 and you’re over here talking about how he wins. The only thing that’s for sure about Butch is that he probably would’ve lost with the ‘01 and would’ve been good for at least one bad loss a season.

He was consistently bailed out by worldly rbs like Moreno, Michel, Chubb, Gurley. And there offenses were still pedestrian.

That ECU team was 8-3, and also beat South Carolina and NC State. ECU had a NFL QB, and was a pretty good team - winning three straight bowl games.

You were probably just a drip down your mama's leg - or you'd remember how good they were.
