The University of Miami baseball team (12-6) fell to the UCF Knights (13-3) Tuesday night at John Euliano Park in Orlando, Fla., 14-4.

Grant Siegel started on the mound for UCF, allowing three runs (two earned) in two innings. Dominic Castellano (3-0) earned the win with two scoreless frames in relief. Miami’s Alex Giroux (2-1) took the loss after giving up six runs in just over an inning of work.

I said it when he was first hired and I’ll continue to say it until I’m blue in the face. Our biggest issue as a program has been pitching, so why in the heck, was our weakest position group coach given the head coach/manager job?! it makes no freaking sense still to this day! Dude has to go, he was never right for this job. Smh

Maybe with our next coaching search we will expand the candidates beyond "current assistants who went to local private high schools".

Look at the arms across the country compared to ours the last 20 years lol we aren’t in the same ballpark. Insane
