Final Four vs. UCONN - 4/1 8:49pm EDT on CBS

ACCN has reporters from Louisville, Duke and UNC national champion teams. So crazy to hear them rooting for Miami....

Giving their perspective on playing on a court in a football stadium...
I been surprised but seen ALOT of support from other ACC team fans, especially Duke fans (maybe those are the cane football fans that also root for duke basketball, lol) .. Admittedly I am a football guy so its kinda weird but cool to see I guess.. Across social medias seen a ton saying they are rooting for us, fun team to watch, etc. I dont know if its Coach L being likable or team overall being likable or I have even seen alot of guys say they made ALOT of money betting on us also, lol.. I am sure that will make people root for us..

Either way pretty cool.. Boozer talking up Coach L doesnt hurt also

Let's check in on UConn fans

I actually almost picked Miami to make the final four doing my brackets because they have good guards. I hope they don’t cause havoc on us with their quickness

Actually a horrible matchup as they have the guards to cause us issues with penetration and they can shoot outside. They also have a center who can neutralize Sanogo. The one thing that we have going for us is that Miami does go through lulls and we are a team who takes advantage of that. We need to do better than Texas and pull away from them when that happens.

I like this match-up. We'll have an advantage down low. And I like running their big guards through lots of screens. I think they'll struggle to get through them and we'll get good shots.

Miami's speed will be a big problem. Miami is also very good in close games. Hurley needs to have a good game plan.

We are bigger at every single position. Miami was able to kill Texas inside because they were missing Disu and Bishop is just not that good. They won’t be able to get to the rim like that against Sanogo and Clingan. However, they are absolute nails from the FT line. We cannot foul these guys. That’s how they will beat us.

We’re the best team left. We keep doing what we’ve been doing this tourney and we’ll beat any of these teams with room to spare.

We need to avenge one of our worst losses when they beat us back I think in 2003 when they stole an inbound pass to win the game when we clearly had the game one. A loss that still stings.

They have no height. DC should be unstoppable

Dude their center is like 6’6, he’s good, but take a deep breath. Both our centers lap him easily.

Sanogo will eat Miami up inside and Clingan will be tough to drive on. We've got some big guards to counter theirs. Even if Hawk and Newt struggle to score, Alleyne and/or JoeyC have stepped up when that happens. AJax will be put on whomever it hot. AK needs to play decent D and bang down a few 3's! We have good balance at the right time. If someone isn't playing great we have some good back up options. Feeling good!

Their guards are tough but Newton and just as big and strong as Wong. Pack has to chase Hawk around. Both great shooters.

They have no bench. They have a better coach, I like Hurley but this dude is a very good coach.

What makes me nervous is they haven't had an obvious matchup advantage against a #4, #1, and #2 seed, and beat all of them.

Who wouldn't have signed up for a National Semifinal game with Miami as the opponent?

Seriously, considering who we've already played & beaten this season going back to November, if we can't beat Miami and the FAU/SDSU winner on this big stage, then we don't deserve to be cutting down the nets next Monday night.

We're the best team of the four. It's up to us to play our best and make them try to beat us.

Miami has a very similar lineup to Arkansas, and we know how that worked out.

4 guards and a 6-7 center means they are extremely small. Sanogo will feast down low. We will grab most of the rebounds. Miami will have to get one of our key guys (AJ, JH) in foul trouble and bang some 3’s to beat us.

I'm nervous too. There's a lot on the line. But I bet Miami fans (all 6 of them) are very nervous about facing UConn.

Miami is like a better Arkansas offensively but their center is better offensively and stronger (not taller). They make bad shots a lot but are more dangerous because they can make threes.

Defensively they are a sieve at times. They can put some ball pressure but they lose focus a lot. Need to put them away when they do because they do seem to lock in at the end of close games.

"We will grab most of the rebounds"

Season 5 Nbc GIF by The Office

Since Feb 1st, against quad 1 teams, UConn is 1st and we’re 2nd in the country according to Barttorvik. They’re 5-2, and we’re 6-1 with the one loss being to Duke when Norchad got hurt.

We’re #2 in offense and #58 in defense. We step up against good teams.

And yeah this filters out our loss to FSU, but Pack was out for that anyway.
We haven't lost a game since January with our starting 5 on the court

Any UCONN fans care to answer?

Please explain UCONN losing to Xavier twice, Marquette twice, a very poor SJU team and two fairly close wins against a very poor GU team? All 8 Miami fans would like to know.

Yeah, they are a very good team.

I want to hear from the UCONN fans, those who have annointed their team as far and away the greatest team this year, what happened during a long stretch of the season where they were just ok.

2 quick thoughts: We haven’t seen too many teams challenge the Huskies in the 2nd half look for Miami to full court press.

And we have to be able to get takeaways and transition off steals like we’ve done all year. As well as keep the ball on the perimeters where we can stifle them enough to disrupt easy balls into the paint.

Forget metrics Miami wins when they create chaos and that’s been a lot of wins.

Can't explain it. Very strange year for UConn..... they start 14-0, then go 2-6, then 13-2. Hurley took some of the blame for the 2-6 stretch by saying he went away from doing what UConn does best. They definitely shouldn't have lost some of the games they did. But, they did. Personally, I don't really look back on the regular season. To me, it only matters how they're playing now. They're very fickle. Never sure which team will show up, Will they be the 27-2 team, or the 2-6 team? I guess we'll find out tomorrow night. I don't make predictions. I'll only predict that it will be far from an easy game for us.
