Final four tix - anyone receive email yet?

one thing Rad must fix is the ticket office account online. the entire system SUCKS. a fourth grader with minimal programming experience using off the shelf IOS1 software built for Pong can do a better job.

Man oh man, you are preaching to the choir. That website is TERRIBLE and frequently breaks down.

I'd also point out that since UM has not played for any championships in 21 years, we are woefully behind the times in our ability to handle a large VOLUME of ticket requests...

Anyones tickets from UM say call the NCAA for more info when you log on to their site to claim them?

There has been a certain amount of inconsistency, but yes, they should be good for both games.

They are not emptying out an 80K stadium and refilling it in 30-40 minutes.

NCAA site works now on mobile, it had the number before. I was given the option to transfer or sell and also add to my wallet

Finally got my email confirm (and my card was charged), but still no mobile tickets to download or transfer.

This seems like a very cumbersome process. I get the feeling they were caught off guard a tad on the demand for tickets, and the fact that we've had a 20 year drought on the national stage in football and basketball.

Is there such a thing as re-growth pains?

This ticketing process is the same as last year's Sweet 16/Elite 8 weekend. Cumbersome with delays between notice of getting tickets, getting seat locations, and then finally actually being able to download the tickets through Ticketmaster. Leads me to think it's more NCAA mandated process than UM, but maybe UM is slow with their allocation process/uploading information. Ultimately works out and it's a compressed schedule, so I cut the ticket office some slack.

Hopefully 15-25k. Saw the school sold its allotment which I believe was 7500. Then there’s the 700 student tickets to make that 8200.

There’s a lot of Canes in Texas. In my experience, UM students hail primarily from NE and Mid-Atlantic but a lot from Texas and California too. I’m expecting a great turnout!

Edit: I’m being pretty generous with turnout but I think it’s increased given it’s the first ever Final Four for the program and UM students/alumni are generally wealthy.
