Figs Out vs Duke

Hope those shoulder issues don't torment him for his entire career. He had a bad shoulder previously that might have required surgery.

You have to wonder about guys like Blue and the other linebackers. How could they be much worse than Cornelius, Armbrister or Gaines?

Short of taking taking their cleats off at the snap and just laying on the grass, it's hard to imagine they could be any worse than the guys we're rolling out there right now.

these coaches put a premium on "knowing where you're supposed to be, and not free lancing".. if our defense is what it is with the guys that know what they're supposed to do, imagine how it'd be with the guys that aren't there yet.

I'm so sick of hearing that our young players aren't ready. Just tell them to tackle the ****** with the ball.

I too grow tired of the ole' "we play player XYZ because he is ALWAYS where he is supposed to be! We just have to get him to make the play once he gets there!" Smh. Been hearing that since the Glenn Cook days. Cant we ever find a player that just makes phuckin' plays regardless of where the **** hes at as long as hes where the **** ball is!

This. I'd rather let the younger more athletic players get burn then seniors who still look lost and on top of that aren't athletic enough (ex. Highsmith) who can't cut it

I totally agree with the last comment...

I'm really happy that Highsmith is always in the right place to look like a paraplegic midget with downs when he actually tries to make a play

I would too and the coaches have shown a willingness to play young guys. Thus, the easiest interpretation is that these guys you want to see are REALLY bad.

Josh Bacon is a better safety than Highsmith, and he's a walk on kicker.

Golden is going to let the seniors, who have suffered through all the chaos finish out the year. Nothing is going to change that.
