I think Rumph was a good hire now that I've saw the development of our corners but at the time I thought Ro Smith would have been the better hire. We need to find a role in the Baez, Doherty, etc capacity for him if he's looking to move to the college game.

Hope he winds up at FIU with Butch or something.

No, I'm getting tired of all the analysis of Richt, concluding Richt can't recruit - has had trouble calling plays - on and on and on.

This weeping and gnashing of teeth saying we need someone who can recruit - I just pointed out the obvious.

Our former pro's and hall of famers - they said Butch made them feel absolutely needed - and when UM was in the tank - Butch DID pull off recruiting miracles.

You guys got what you wanted - now quit crying over it.

It always happens like that for us, they don't do sh*t for Miami, but as soon as they go elsewhere they absolutely crush it in recruiting.

I wouldn't be surprised if Coach Ro Smith wound up on UF's staff in some capacity.

I just hope MNW keeps Coach Max, we can win multiple State titles under him.

We just haven't been relevant, won anything or had decent facilities. All the things you need to attract top recruits. fsu and the gates know they must deepen their ties in the SoFl area because The U has closed the gap. We on more and getting better recruits. Our percentages for keeping guys home will increase with victories.

You hear randy name but he isnt landing any big recruits. Who has he landed at uf that would make him a great recruiter?

Other than when he cleaned out MNW his first year, all of Randy's Dade County recruiting prowess resulted in jack squat when he was the HC @ UM. And he's lazy and stubborn as f%^&

You should direct your rants at the people it applies to then. Certainly not me. Far as butch goes I played for him as well. It wasn't at all that he made you feel needed. He made us all feel a part of something bigger than ourselves. Very much the same thing cmr does. & to say butch can recruit therefore cmr must not be able to is silly. Heaven forbid they are both **** good recruiters & the past proves it.
