Had no business ever working under JD Arteaga. He should have been the HC, if anything when you compare the resume.

Idk about his feelings towards the college game. He's a pro guy at heart and it probably played a role in him leaving.

He was also the worst 3B coach I've ever seen in my life. No feel for it. Maybe it had been a while for him.

This really stinks. I want to get excited about the roster turnover and some real hardnosed kids who have had nice careers but have a chance at a fresh start for an even bigger finish to their careers.

But this staff with this many new faces worries me the results could be even worse this year because they cant put the puzzle together on the field.

Vandy nailed another hire last year getting Coach King from Dayton. Corbins staff is legit. He surrounded himself with some of the best minds on all fronts. Heck he even got Blankmeyer who will probably be a big time head coach someday. I just feel like JD's rolodex is pretty bare.
