And so ends DMoney's sociological experiment as to the effects of making an en masse request on the intranets. Thanks to all that have participated. The stipends for contributing to the research will be hand delivered by Genron commencing in September.

Well, thanks for trying D$. This thread unfortunately seems to have worsened matters.

all this cynical deep-inside-mopes have brought faulty optimism.

every real canes fan would know who those people are now.

these are the emo kids who are too cool for school and "say" they are die hard.

for some strange reason, they like our Canes but still trash them.

mods should ban these people.

I find this thought process particularly assbackwards.

For the past three years, Golden has been presented as our savior, one who elected to stay even after he realized that he was going to be forced to take a big bite out of a siht sandwich he was handed.

Over the past three years, those who are supposedly Golden fans have time after time stated that our players were the crap, and Golden was the answer. And we hear lately that now that Randy's turds are gone, the program is so much better.

The other school, commonly noted as Mopes, do not slay the players, but put the blame on Golden and D'Onofrio.

Note that talking bad about the players on the part of the non-Mopes is not only permissable, but is the very foundation for their defense of the coaching staff.

Whereas, the "Mopes" lay the blame on a lack of coaching, scheme deficiencies, **** poor game day adjustments, and the inability to make any adjustments that anyone with a TV can see are glaring deficiencies.

The only ones who are called upon to tone down the rhetoric, are those to criticize Golden and D'Onofrio, while Golden, D'Onofrio, and the pristine Golden supporters here blame the players, the sorry-assed failure to execute, and we've all seen it here, and heard it from our coaching staff.

Yet, the Mopes, who don't criticize the players, are accused by the side that criticizes the players, as not being Canes fans.

The rule here is call out the players, call them out by name, criticize them publicly, just as Golden has blamed the players for not executing - not ONCE admitting his defensive scheme suks balls. Mark D'Onofrio is ****ed he has to coach a bunch of kids.

common sense - you ain't got none. ban people.

The only bans are those who criticize Golden and D'Onofrio, but no one is banned for criticizing Miami players. When week after week, I hear Golden blame the players, it makes me want to puke. That's not a coach - that's a pretender. Who can't take responsibility for his own scheme and philosophy.

What does a coach do? He coaches. If the players don't understand or cannot execute, then possibly the damned teacher isn't worth a ****, or what he's trying to teach them isn't worth a ****.

I see how the wind blows here. Golden and D'Onofrio are off limits. Players - open season. It makes sense, as that's what Golden does.

Ban my *** if you can't deal with the true source of the problem.

Stop being ********. Seriously. I open a thread about the indoor practice facility and people are arguing about the defense. Enough already.

It's one thing to be honest about the state of the team, or to call out stupidity. We all saw the last five games. But that isn't what's going on here. This is the same pack of people looking for the chance to leak **** blood all over a thread. And these are good posters, too.

The season is 41 days away. We live and die for this team. We ignore our wives and kids for this team. Three years ago, we weren't even sure if we would have a team. Now the NCAA Enforcement division is in shambles and we're still here. I'm going to enjoy the **** out of it.

We've had an entire off-season to ***** about Golden's disloyalty and the collapse of the defense. Let's focus on the team that is taking the field on Labor Day. That is the reason we are all here.

I remember when KlanAlmighty used to porst on that other website. He tried to codify what was appropriate speech over there as well. He then made prediction after prediction week after week until he became so much of a joke he had to leave. It's good he's found a home where speech is protected. Not only does he not have to worry about bullies, but he's prevented from saying anything too outlandish that will embarrass him later.

If this was how all the posts were about Golden and D'Onofrio D$ wouldn't have started this thread.
