62% strikes - good to see. ABs definitely better after game 1. Just hard to gauge how good they were w Towson pitching staff's dreadful control.Solid day for McFarlane. I’d probably give him the slight edge this weekend over Garland.

Let's hope it's nothing serious. The best ACC teams appear to have some tough LH starters from the little research I have done.Anyone know what injury carlos perez is dealing with? I've seen him come out of the dugout and celebrate HRs. Doesn't look to be anything noticeable
Always a good weekend when we sweep and Floriduh drops two.Nice sweep! also nice:
Excluding ranked teams playing each other opening weekend, some of the top 25 had some losses that should very well see us move up from nbr 25:
Fri: nbr 12 E. Carolina loses to Bryant 10-2. nbr 2 Arkansas to Illinois St 3-2. nbr 23 Duke to VMI 10-5 nbr 22 DallasB to SE Mo. 7-6.
Sat: E. Carolina again loses to Bryant 5-4. DallasB again to SE Mo. 6-5. nbr 20 UC-Irvine to Louisiana 7-4. nbr 17 TCU to Calif. 7-6. nbr 9 Florida to Liberty 6-4!
…nbr 14 TexasTech to Aub 2-1. Nbr 6 Stanford to Fullerton 11-0.
Sun (so far) nbr 13 NotreDame to Delaware 5-4. Florida to Liberty again 5-3! UC-Irvine to Louisiana again 5-3. E.Carolina to Bryant again 5-3.
Agree, but an even bigger SEC bias than anti-Miami IMO. But then, the SEC has won or finished 2nd in 12 of the last 13 CWS.The sordid history of anti-CANES bias seems to continue...
Florida loses 2 of 3 and drops from 9 to 15 while our 4-0 sweep moves us from 25 to 24. Geesh.
The new D1(ESPN) rankings (bottom-half) selection pasted below (at least they put us ahead of 0-3 E. Carolina!!)
