2026 Favour Akih 4-Star RB from Ohio

I've said on many occasions recruit Ohio. These recruits do not have allegiance to Ohio State. Just like kids from Houston and Dallas don't have allegiance to A&M and UT. We aren't the only area where players want to leave. It's refreshing to see the staff actually believe in getting a big time Ohio recruit. I expect 2-3 Ohio kids in this class if we take the **** seriously there.

Have to see the rest of the backs this cycle before I put him on a pedestal, need to see who UGA OSU and those others are targeting.

Michigan’s 2 Heisman trophy winners are from Ohio, Charles Woodson and Desmond Howard. As well as QB Elvis Grbac.

Maybe Cincinnati kids, but Columbus area and NE Ohio where I’m from, they love O State. My nephew plays at Glenville in Cleveland, that’s been a pipeline to Columbus for over 20 years, but Cleveland kids are city boys, they’d fit in with our guys.

I like him as RB2, but IMO we still need one of Cooper/Lamar/Jonaz, those are the special difference makers. Lamar is going to UGA, but Cooper is a 20 carry horse behind the OL we will have for him. Pay him whatever necessary to keep him home.

I do like Favour more than Mallory though . Again, I just don’t really see anything special with that kid.

Totally agree here. If Favour or Lamar is RB2 to Cooper....WOW!

I’m from/Akron, but my brother and nephew live in Mentor. He played QB on Ginn Elite for 3 years, he’s a sophomore this year. They got dumped in the 4th round of the playoffs. He played a pretty bad game.
