Favorite Miami-FSU game?

So many great games with FSU and we won them all! Mine is the 1987 game. Down 19-3 late in the 3rd. Won 26-25.

2002. I graduated in 1997 and my sister was at UM at the time. We have attended all UM games as students, but never together until 2002. That game was epic and the wide left was icing on the cake.

2002. When McGahee took that screen pass down to about the 12 yd line, I thought the OB was coming down.

First time I really saw one player take over a football game. I fell completely in love with UM watching that game. I was a fan, don't get me wrong, but afterwards I was head over heels.

I rewatched the '91 game from ESPN Classic last night. Good G-d what a ******* defensive show. The '92 game was a great defensive show too, but that had a little bit more to do with bad offensive performances. '91 was the hardest hitting defensive game I've ever seen. That, and we were able to run McGuire all over them. I bet Casey Weldon's back was black and blue for a month after that game. Also, I miss Keith Jackson doing games. If you're a youngster and you never got to witness a Keith Jackson called college football game, your life sucks, plain and simple. The way he said, "Miama" was classic.

i think i might have to go with the dorsey to shockey win. that signaled to the country that the []_[] was back.

My absolute favorites are the ones where Miami wins. I don't really like the ones where Miami loses.

Great thread. If you are over the age of 35 and dont say 1991 was the best UM-FSU game you need your head examined. The 1987 game was a close second.

That 1994 game was the best home game of the series. Better then 02' and 00' AND 92'. That defense was crazy. And the OB was insane. Alot of stars in that game too. I thought that Carlos Jones was gonna be a sure fire 1st round pick. He was a taller version of Phillip Buchannon. He and James Stewart ate themselves out of making alot of money.

Good thing I'm 34 then. I love the '91 game, but for some reason, I love the games that kind of fly under the radar. Everyone always says 91 or 2000 or 2002. No one gives any love to 94 or 90.

1. The 2000 game....everyone knows why.
2. the 1994 game...sapp killed and that carlos pick 6 was great...
3. 2009....great game...both teams were trash but it was a great game and most recent
