Carlos Jones is #1 but the incomplete hail mary and subsequent rushing of the field against UCLA was classic.

I know we have had a lot.....but there are some that meant more than others!!!! ill try to put the ones that happened that i Really remember.

1. 4th and 42 vs Notre Dame....Thrill Hill Catch '89

2. Shokey Game winner vs fsu in '00

3. Sikes 99 yard tin return vs fla '02

4. Barrow hit on Vanover fsu '92

5. Ed reed took the ball from walters to seal game vs BC '01

6. Tremain Mack punt block to win the game vs W Va '96

7. Carlos Rogers pic 6 to seal game vs fsu '94

8. K2 catch vs w va to help set up fg on 4th and 13 '03

9. hesters opening KO return vs fla '03

10. michael Irvin 73 yard td vs fsu '87

Mine is still the ed reed one....it wasnt smart at all, but he showed why he was a play maker....i had a hangover from the night before and woke up to watch that game....dorsey was making me sick with those picks....and when st pierre made that nice throw to the 12 with like 1 min left i remember him showboating and i really thought we was about to lose this effing game....thank u mike rumph knee and walters instincts lol....ed reed to the house!!!!!

As the years go on, Reed gets increasingly more credit for the BC win, something he doesn't deserve. Rumph made a great play on the ball and Walters clinched the win when he came up with the int. Although it looks great on the highlights, what Reed did could have actually cost us the game in more than one way.

BTW, the Hill catch was on 3rd down , not 4th (doubt anyone would go for it on a 4th and 42 inside their own 10 yard line in the third quarter).

The whole fourth qtr. vs FSU in 2000 was a magical moment.
That game marked the return, everyone had written the program of for dead.
I owe many of the happiest momens of my life to Hurricane football.

Does that sound pathetic?

Imagine watching that game with miami haters and fsu fans...they was in my ear when fsu came back and took the lead....after those coversions by dorsey and moss then the td pass to shokey, they wanted to fight me that saturday!!!!

Opening KO of the Cotton Bowl: Bailey KO's returner.

Irvin's long TD at FSU in 87.

Cleveland Gary giving Deion a ride into the end zone; occurred right in front of me.

Vinny's run against OU in 86.

Kevin Williams WR screen vs Houston. Thought the OB was coming down that night.

Sean Taylor weaving through traffic in Tally. Man against boys.

My easy answer is 3rd and 43 against ND. One of my good friends who was a diehard ND fan and I watched the game on TV at that time. I screamed so loud when Hill made a 48 yard catch from Erickson on that play. Also I think it was Lou Holtz's last game against the U as head coach.

Pass break up on 2pt conv vs NEB to seal 1st Natl Title

Probably the single most important play in UM history.

Don't know how anyone could argue against that. A lot of the younger fans cannot appreciate how much of an underdog Miami was and the fact that Miami really had no business even being able to stay on the field with them. I'll never forget pre game warm ups as a kid looking at them thinking they were monstrous.

Watched the 03 comeback against UF with a room full of gator fans. Epic, epic game. Will forever respect Brock.

The Sean Taylor rain game versus FSU is the stuff that legends are made of.

Hester return (never heard OB so loud), Shockey FSU, Vilma decleating Nebraska team in ship game, ST rain game are my favorites which I watched in person

Kevin Williams 91 yard punt return against Penn State in 1991

Toretta to Copeland for an 80 yard TD in the same game

Toretta to Lamar Thomas in 1992 against FSU

Reggie Wayne catch and run against VT in 1998

Toretta to Copeland 99 yard TD at Arkansas in 1991

That's the answer, IMO. In a bottom line sport that play was as bottom line as it gets. There was no guarantee we'd ever be back. Miss out on that chance and there was so much potential for 1983 to drift into little more than a cute story, like Butler nearly beating Duke is destined to become.

Most excited I might have ever been as a Cane fan.

I don't know if I can call it my favorite play but I know that is a return I'll never forget. My old man got tix for my bday and me him and one of my friends road on a bus full of gators down for that game. We got there late and us 3 hopped off the bus before parking and ran to the stadium so we didn't miss opening kick off and sat down during the coin flip (took us FOREVER to find the bus after the game). Also realized at that point we were in a gator section.

I still remember the gator fans celebrating like they won the game after they won the coin toss and deferred. I remember seeing Hester return a kick in the game before (was it lousianna monroe or something? Maybe La tech?) and I told the gator fans in front of us they just made a huge mistake kicking off to Hester to start the game.

Then he returned it for a TD and they all just looked at me. Then ST's return after the UF FG... of course the next 2 qtrs were miserable but set up for a pretty awesome ending. Definately a game I'll never forget.

The ride back to Daytona on the bus full of gators was GREAT.
