I graduated from Western HS, last year’s team was amazing. Beat Deerfield and PB Central on the road, coming from behind. Lost to the eventual state runner up in Atlantic.

I like Phillips Academy up in Chicago. When I coached up there, they were just starting their great run. I’ve met the head coach and like him. And they won the first state championship in the history of Chicago Public Schools.

unpopular but the STA 2006 squad was fun to watch, and lost in the best HS game I've ever watched against Lakeland in the state finals.

F that team...My team we had them on the ropes that year. George Smith sH8tted his pants..he knows what was up. I was a younging then.

Lol Same year we beat AD in the semi and TB put about a buck twenty on your boy McFadden. Moss’d him twice down the south sideline.

We came RIGHT back at them too. Won by a late fg. George Smith sh*tted himself I know he didn't think we were that good. He respected us after that. They ran up the score the next time we played though. RIP MIKE GULLA

That was the craziest game I ever remeber seeing. The overtime was great and all, but the catchup to make it to overtime was insanity.

South Miami Cobras 1978 squad. I grew up in that neighborhood and followed guys like Dennis McKinnon (Chicago Bears), Wayne Capers (Pittsburgh Steelers) and Fernanza Burgess (cut by the Phins but a total stud) before I was in high school age and ended up at Sunset but who cares? I was a HUGE fan of those guys. They lost to the Freddie Miles/Lomas Brown Miami Springs team and that devastated me. I LOVED watching those guys ball out.

The 97 (?) South Plantation team with Coles Colas, Fred Barr, Colin Cole, Travis Jones, etc.
The 95-96 Plantation High teams.

Nothing compared to the legendary Dade teams but I'm speaking through personal experience as someone who grew up in Broward and played against them.

Plantation High had some studly teams back then but they could never get past Dade.

Freddie Miles, Wow! I remember being at Dade North and had Freddie for a Math class when he got dropped by F$U and was always trying to copy off me. I told him that he could have at it; but Math was not my favorite subject. Cool cat tho!

2000 Central team with Wiliis McGahee was pretty good. I think that was what got our run started.
