Deerfield Beach had them on the ropes. That Deerfield team was legit. Deerfield is one of the most slept on programs down here. Its because they are North..them and Ely when cooking..they are tough to beat. They had Jason Pierre Paul and Denard Robinson and company. Now they have the new wave of kids the last 2-3 years.

I disagree on Deerfield. To me they’re not slept on, they’re massive underachievers, at least lately. Especially given all the talent they have on an annual basis. They should be in the state semis or the championship on a regular basis. Coaching to me is an issue for them. They win a pretty pedestrian district and do well against out of district opponents. But very meh in the playoffs.

I' glad you said Lately. Deerfield is hardly mentionedown here. They YEARLY can knock off any of thebig dogs down here from STA to MNW...theyve done it already. Now they are RECRUITERS..but they are essentially recruiting kids from that Coconut Creek/Monarch area...those kids te ranked and have offers...but when the f have coconut creek or monarch area done anything worth a ****. Its almost fool gold. Add to it..their coaching aint all that either your correct.

I’m gonna go with Dillard’s 89 and 90 teams. I’m biased since that’s my school.
 
Those glades Jack rabbits were a problem back when they had K Benjamin and those boys
Also those booker t boys that year they had Brandon Harris were tough too

That Booker T team Won a State Championship the same yr as MNW...2008
I was at both games here in Orlando....ironically...a couple hrs between each game...Booker T was 4A....MNW 6A
MNW would have beaten them...

I played for Deerfield Beach and we beat Dillard in 89 at Lockhart stadium. I don't remember anything special about those teams.

89 beat merrit island for states and that 90 team was ranked high as number three in the country.
