Favorite Croot

Favorite: francis
Underrated: Kinsler (massive human)
Guy I’m rooting for: Emory. Committed knowing he’d have comp with a highly rated qb in the same class and stuck and seems like he’s a leader. Working out with teammates early morning during their OV was great to see and how it should be.

Edit: rooting for all of them Bc they’re all Canes! but special place for Emory

Favorite or who we think will be the star of the class?

Just favorite...Frankie. I really like seeing his love and support for the program.

Edit: he's also pretty **** good with big upside

Most intrigued by Horton. Classic Miami-type penetrating DT at the high school level. Really curious to see how skill set develops/translates.

Francis Mauigoa... Alpha. Leader. Elite talent. Will be a locker room and culture leader for the team. Will push both O and D line to maximum performance.

Popo Aguirre.

Side note: Don't look now, but we've got a pipeline going to ATL Metro area. Pulled Popo, Pulliam, Horton all from that area.

My answer today is the same as what it was before ESD.

Cormani because after two decades of having the likes of Bama, LSU, and UGA come into our backyard and poach future first-round CB’s left and right while we fought over the scraps, Mario and DVD went into Gator territory and landed a commitment from the best corner in the country from Lakeland of all places. Those who’ve followed Miami recruiting for many years know how unprecedented this was for us.

It was a miraculous pull and what I hope will be the start of a new trend where we land the elites at CB on an annual basis. Hopefully we get his signature, close the deal today, and then land a 5* WR or two in 2024 to reverse the trend at that position.

It's hard to pick just one but I will say I love the family aspect of this class.

We went from being a coach-speak "brotherhood" to being a legitimate actual "BROTHERHOOD". Having three sets of brothers on this team says something to me about the culture that is being developed.

I like it.

McClain.

If he is anything close to the advertisement (a generational talent a la P. Peterson), it's him. I've told my buddies I have a prediction out there that wherever he goes to school, that school is winning a natty.

In the format of another poster-

Favorite: Popo
Underrated: Kinsler
Guy I’m especially rooting for: Tripp. He and his fam have been day ones and publicly passionate about what Mario is building.

Side note, this OL class is crazy. Four of them could realistically be starters in 2024.
