Official Fall PractiSe #14: Scrimmage 2

What's the cute name for the West Coast Offense we about to have to run? Suncoast Offense?

Seriously, we should be a fine in the passing game, just don't expect the amount of explosive plays we had last season. One of the TE's might be our leading receiver, and I wouldn't be shocked to see a RB (or maybe even 2) in the top 5 on the team.
Last year Miami was 19th in total offense at 449 yards per game. Ohio State was first at 565 per game. Number 38 was at 434 yards per game. It is what you do with the chances you get and with a better defense, you can get more short field opportunities. This reduces total offense.

Do you realize that our QB will be 10 times better than last year, more mature, more polished and has more chemistry with the players from last year?

Do you realize that those same OL players from last year will be much better under a HC who takes pride in OL performance? Better OL performance better overall offense. It even makes the WR's better players.

Do you realize that our TE's will be healthy and much improved with the return of very talented player who is healthy this time and with addition of Skinner?

I expect the offense to be way better than last year despite having "new system".
Sounds like wishful thinking

Leave it to CIS to overreact about a prediction that’s overreacting to scrimmage news.

I am old enough to remember a walk on running back by the name of Albert Bentley. He turned out ok.
I thought Albert had a scholarship out of Immokalee HS but ... maybe he picked one up after he arrived.

Most underrated back ever to play here. Fine runner and blocker in pass pro. We don't win that first NC game without him. Protected Kosar all night and ran for the winning TD iirc. Had a nice NFL career too.

To be fair our offense was really good last year. This year I think our defense will be really good. I'm just hoping the offense can be average.
