Don’t know exactly how I feel yet, but the defense dominating an offense like ours seems like a net positive. In other words, if the opposite were true (offense dominating), I’d probably be completely unsurprised considering the firepower on offense and our lack of proven talent in the secondary. I have confidence in the offense to get it together (maybe that’s foolish) and I’m cautiously optimistic that these are signs our defense could be nasty this year.

Defense is supposed to be ahead this time of year and we’d be shedding defensive tears if they were getting shredded.

It's been my experience in my time around football that the defense should always be ahead of the offense at this time in camp unless you have a ton of continuity from the prior year on offense. I would worry a bit if we are still hearing that the O is getting dominated after the 2 scrimmages.

The back and forth is great news but i'm looking for a competitive response from the O after being dominated by the defense.

Defense should be further along at this juncture but coaches create adversity and stoke competition during camp, because this is how we improve and find the best 22.

This d-line is amazing, but they need to remain healthy. (I know I know breaking news lol)

It's a fair point.
All of the Street & Smith preseason hype and mental mast-rbation is all good, but as with the case with all programs, how will the (active) roster look by mid-late October?

for anyone who has heard who can’t obviously give specific details, has the first team offense been very good and the issues are team 2 or 3? Or is cam and the group on and off

Good to hear him say how hard the players and staff are working.
