I grew up in soFla playing soccer and football, including 2xDays in the middle of August and the question I have 40 years later is.....why? These days I barely survive doing yard work or cleaning car in the middle of summer....lol.

Finished up my 5 acres in 100 central FL heat. I’m dead. Lol

It was 87 degrees at 9pm after my old guy soccer game last week in Chattanooga

Miami weather has always been insane...

88° at 8AM in the morning with 90% humidity so thick you can cut through it with a butter knife.
Then it fckin Thunderstorms at 11:30 for 15min- to half hour til 12:00...
Then by 12:30 its 93° - 95° for the rest of the day till around 6 or 7 when the Sun finally goes down & it’s mid 70’s at night with a really nice cool breeze.

The worst daytime weather in the country, while simultaneously having the best nighttime weather in the country.

I don’t miss it for one second lol

I’m actually curious about the 9 am starts. I wonder if Mario pushed practice back to let kids get a little more sleep in before school starts and that time likely changes to much earlier. I can’t ever recall practice starting that late. He may also be doing it on purpose to condition them to those noon or 3:30 starts. I dunno.

It was something along those lines…Golden did make some attempts with little resources and support to try and bring some things to the table, access, camps etc but I do remember people were pretty excited about those clips. They were kinda like weekly diaries IIRC

Been here all my life. Played HS football at SW so we did the two-a-days too.

It’s really bad for just 3 months, then it tails off. But July, Aug, and Sept are just brutal.

I never heard that, but if true then he definitely deserves criticism at least for that game. I was at that game and he had WRs running open all over the place and kept either not seeing them or missing them.

I remember. They were basically our crappy attempt at a Vlog. But we had some behind the scenes of workouts, team meetings, speeches from former players, etc. I would love to have an expanded version of it but I think we won't get that until that new building is up & running. Cristobal seems like the type of guy to only wanna let you see behind the curtain when he's proud of what's there.

The same four are out there whenever the media is present: Mesidor, Deen, LT, and Kelly. Moten got some first team snaps today and all of the freshmen linemen are doing well. The transfer Campbell is also "looking good".
