No I'm not confusing you I'm simply reading your comment and it sounds like the typical that's gone on around here lately where everyone has something negative to say with some conspiracy theory to how Mario is handling what he's doing. I'm glad to hear you're supporter If so simply understand he's doing what's necessary to get things right.Ammo? Breh I pay to go to games not sure what you talking about or who u confusing me with. Im not the media or manny or whoever. I just did a quick search and thats what I saw, but cook breh..
So did Jordan Travis. Lets see what Dawson could do w him.and struggles to hit broad side of a barn from 10 ft.
Can he play db?
It's one extreme or another. It's not a matter of **** the fans... Cause actual fans of the program won't all be emotional in the thought process that our head football coaches concern is to appease them outside of with results on the football field... If they're fans than just let the man work. His jobs hard enough without our own supposed fans constantly fanning the flames. Let those same people buy tickets and help sell out all our games than they can ***** & moan till their hearts content. Cause 8 out of 10 our stadium ain't nowhere near full anyhow.Agree with pretty much all of that but fans are important and have to always be a concern like it or not. Without fans these guys would be playing intramural football in some park. A head coach cannot take the attitude of F the fans I could care less about them. Unless he wants an empty stadium with a slashed budget.
That said it does make sense to limit availability to our "not all friends of UM" media. Just need to find a balance that keeps people engaged and interested. Modern day football is a brand of entertainment after all.
Don't pay him no mind, he's in a sour mood today and bringing the negativity with him.No I'm not confusing you I'm simply reading your comment and it sounds like the typical that's gone on around here lately where everyone has something negative to say with some conspiracy theory to how Mario is handling what he's doing. sounded like the QBs weren't sharp, either
In my perspective, a lot of it has to do with the market. The U is still a relatively small, private school, with a relatively small alumni base. The great majority of our fanbase are non-alumni who heat up or cool down based on our performance. If you look at the number of UiF, FSPoo, Fi(eww) graduates in our market area, it's a significant amount. You will find a lot more lizard fans in Miami than you will find Auburn fans in Tuscaloosa, and the Herald is aware of that fact. You think the Ann Arbor paper has a Buckeye section? Yet the Herald has sections for most of the Florida schools, and sportswriters from those schools.Good discussion about the media in here
I can’t even imagine what would happen to these people if they tried what they do at an Alabama or an LSU. They would receive death threats.
I totally agree that ideally they all work together but I also support Mario telling them all to go **** themselves. Just from the outside looking in Mario gave them a chance and they’ve repeatedly ****ed up.
It’s like ok so you wanna use me and my team for clicks? But you don’t want to work together? Go **** yourselves
The local media has always liked to paint their own narrative to try and sensationalize our sports stories (more often than not, harming our teams). They should all be fictional writers, but seem to have not made the cut in that respect either as proven by their subpar pencil pusher jobs.
I miss him.
When the food runs out. Will Manny Navarro cry again?
Thats why I said there has to be a balance. This is the problem with everything from a message board to our entire political climate. Everything has to be extreme. All or nothing. 100% my way or nothing at all. Mopes and Slurpers. Rational/objective critical thinking is gone. It's one extreme or another. It's not a matter of **** the fans... Cause actual fans of the program won't all be emotional in the thought process that our head football coaches concern is to appease them outside of with results on the football field... After I take care off his *** on TwitterWill Manny Navarro cry again?
As someone not from SFL who knows about 50+ or so college graduates born and raised in Miami. 3… went to Miami. About 20-25 of them went to UF.In my perspective, a lot of it has to do with the market. The U is still a relatively small, private school, with a relatively small alumni base.
