So for one player it's perfectly okay for them to do what's best for themselves & look around, but for the other because he stays on the team he gets more hate???

Good luck to the kid.
When we signed all the wideouts last year we knew it would come to this with one of them. This gives us another needed spot, we’ll be fine.

Not necessarily, transfers that can play immediately gives you leeway to better build the bottom of your roster, and allows some kids to RS, get bigger, stronger, faster and sometimes smarter. Obviously the 4/5 stars could play, some kids need to RS and it builds your program along for the future. Most big time programs have a *** load of RS.

We weren't discussing the player's ability to perform. We were discussing his immediate eligibility on transferring. Redshirting at his former school does not give him immediate eligibility.

Why would you want almost 15% of your scholarships lock down on WRs?
11 personnel is king right now on CFB, even if you have 2 guys injured and 2 that can’t play, you should be fine with 10 players at most.

OL/DL/CB should have the bulk of your roster not WR. You can make up the production of WR with TEs and RBs.
 
On a positive note, it is a good sign that players that transfer do so because of the quality of depth, rather than leaving because they aren't good enough to compete at the P5 level.
 
Too much competition u can’t blame him. Wish him the best hopes he lands in a great spot.
