Explain to me why time is wasted during practice on this?

I think it's fantastic. Wish when I played in high school that our coach did something like this. I would end practice with that everyday (after sprints). That's one of those creative ways to get guys to exert energy when they are dead tired because you get adrenaline going and competition.

The Jets had rookies do a dizzy bat relay. Fun stuff that anyone who played sports knows about. Duke looks ****ed he got got by Grace from jump street. Anyone complaining about this is a sad individual.

It's also on UDay to show that practice can be fun. People this age love playing dodgeball. I think it's great.

don't you hate it when people that were never part of a sports team.. specially at a college level .. make comments about after practice activity meant to lighten the mood try to pretend they know wtf they are talking about?

If you knew anything about football and coaching a sport, you would understand that this is a fantastic idea.

It's used a team building exercise, gets people to loosen up, freshmen to make freinds with seniors, coaches to joke around with the staff and players and vice versa. Players play harder for a coach that is a good guy and one that they feel as though they are letting down and this is a way to do that.

I think some guys on here have to understand that for one, you're a fan, and for two, these kids do t get paid, they get free tuition and some extras.

They're allowed to have fun and he'll so is the coaching staff. I'm sure them playing dodgeball ain't gonna be the difference between winning the championship or not, if you think that you're delusional.

Grow up OP and before you bash something as simple as this, spend more time coaching in your community and understand the time commitment the kids, parents, coaches and supporting staff put into a game. They deserve it once a while. Sorry they disappoint people who just don't get it.
