Expectations for Berrios

i expect him to shirt which is the best for him long term with his injury

we are in no need of immediate depth to rush him but when he does hit the field im expecting number like that were posted above hes not gonna be a superstar here but a **** good wide out who will probably be our QB's best friends in the receiving game

With Malcom being in form, I hope he shirts.... However if he is better than Malcom,Dorsett, and Rayshawn what can you do but play him. Their are other receivers D'Mauri Jones etc... That have been healthy and looked good in practice. If we were lacking return men, it would be necessary, but the receivers are deep. I also have a feeling if Brady gets here and gets the game mentally, he may be able to take PT from the likes of Scott, and company. I would love to see him and Coley on the field at the same time.

I think you shirt him, no need to burn a year if we are deep in front of him. Next year though Coley, Berrios, and Langham as a starting three of even Gray over Langham is quite interesting.

Let'em go at it in practice hard and best man wins the job! When I coached youth ball in Tampa, all positions were up for grabs starting every Saturday when we played and next weeks practice. We would challenge kids to be starters and our practices would be intense. Point is if a cat knows when he gets on the field and kicks *** then comes back to practice and maintains his intensity and high level play, that the coach truly plays the best then they all gonna be grinding. I want a team full of killas all ready to take out the whole family.

what's so insightful? if he's recovered and at 100% and on the 2 deep, he plays. I don't think it's as black and white on redshirt him or not.
I would think if he's a 100%, he will be on the 2 deep or he will help us and won't redshirt.

Yup, that's exactly what you said.

if he's a 100% and can make plays and help us win, he plays.

Kid isn't redshirting. I don't think he had a full ACL tear. He's close to 100% and will be ready for the fall.

Here's what to expect from Olsen and Berrios

if they are not this good this year, our coaches are garbage.

I expect Berrios to put up the same numbers as MICHAEL CAMPANARO. they are the same exact player.

67 REC 803 YDS 6TD

Not as a Freshman of course but he will be a play maker for us.

I expect more from Berrios when it's all said and done.

You say they are the same player.
They might be with one caveat: Berrios is an elite, yes ELITE, athlete, whereas Campanero is just a good one.

Not sure what will happen but with who we have and his injury I think a redshirt would be the best option.
